its been a whirlwind!

I can't even begin to explain how crazy these past 6 days have been. I have seriously been going non-stop whether it is work, cleaning, unpacking, going to the parks, sleeping, bonding with the roommates I have just been going and going and going! I was lucky enough to get yesterday and today off of work and lucky enough to work 82 hours before my next day off. Don't worry, I know you are jealous ;) haha
Its weird to think that I now live in Orlando, something I only could have dreamed of when I was little. Its even weirder to realize that I have only been here for 6 days when it seems like soo much longer than that! But I guess I can catch you up on what these past 6 days have been like. Maybe writing all of it down will help me wrap my head around all of this craziness.

Check in Day!
February 2nd rolls around bright and early. As tired as I was I couldn't help but get excited!! Long story short because everyone is right - I am way too exhausted to write my whole life story on this thing and I highly doubt you guys want to hear about it too haha so anyways, the outcome of check in was that we got a 4 bedroom in Chatham Square apartment complex and I love it. It is so nice inside and I have some of the best roommates ever. We all get along great and have so much fun together so we definitely lucked out there! During casting I found out that I will be working in Downtown Disney at the World of Disney and I am so excited to be there! Not going to lie, the first day was extremely long filled with a boring housing meeting, some grocery shopping, unpacking, a tearful goodbye to my mom, Chili's with Brooke and Emilee, a target/walmart run with them as well and then an attempt at putting our beds on bed risers....this was definitely an interesting adventure haha Needless to say by the time I got in to bed I was exhausted!

Day 2!
To be truthfully honest I don't remember what we did on day 2 haha I remember sleeping in a little bit, hanging out with the roommates, unpacking some more and then an adventure with Brooke, Emilee, Shawna and Jessica! We decided that instead of going out, we were going to cook our first home cooked meal in our new apartment :) We decided that since there were 3 texas girls in our apartment we would show them what a dinner from texas is really like so we cooked some tex-mex for the roommates as well as Lacy and Brandon. It was definitely a fun night with all of the roommates and new friends. We played a little rockband, hung out and just got to know eachother which was definitely much needed. Again, as soon as my head hit the pillow that night I was out, only to be woken up by my alarm going off at 5:15 in the morning for Traditions...yikes!

Traditions!

Welll, we had the morning traditions class which I was pretty happy about because it meant we got to go to the parks afterwards! I was also pretty pumped when I realized that I actually enjoyed traditions and it wasn't a drag. Sure it was early and I HATED wearing business clothes but the information we learned during the class and walking around Magic Kingdom were so worth it that I definitely loved it! After Traditions we all raced home, got somethin to eat and then took off to the parks! Our first stop was Hollywood Studios and it was so much fun! We rode Tower of Terror, Rock N' Rollercoaster, watched the High School Musical Parade, and walked around laughing the whole time. I couldn't believe that this was my new home :) After our Hollywood Studios adventure we hopped on the bus to Magic Kingdom to watch Wishes with the roommates for the first time. Without fail it chokes me up every time I watch it. It is just absolutely amazing! After that, we took a stroll under the tunnels looking for the bus to get back to the apartment. Back at the apartment was a whole other adventure in itself! Haha first of all, Brooke, Brandon, Jaci and myself were eating cake in the middle of our floor when it sounded like someone was trying to break in. Can you say creepy?! I wont bore you with the details of that night but needless to say it was very entertaining.

Day 4!
Saturday consisted of sleeping in a little bit and then going to what felt like traditions only for Downtown Disney - and a whole lot more boring! haha It was another 4 hour class learning all about the past, present and future of DTD as well as walking all around the town. OUCH do my feet hurt! I have about 8 blisters on each foot from every pair of shoes that I have worn haha lame but then I got to get my costume which was quite exciting and the rest of the night was spent relaxing at home and hanging out with the roomie!

First day of work!
Sunday was my first day of training, I am officially earning my ears now :) I had to be in DTD at 8:30 which meant hopping on the bus at 7:25 - blah but I will survive haha Nothing really exciting happened the first day, I got a tour of where everything was in the store, got to see some really cute princesses, did a bunch of boring computer work that I was trying so hard not to fall asleep during and then I got to learn one of the hairstyles that I will be doing! It was a decent day but I am glad the computer work is over with. With it being Superbowl Sunday we of course had to watch the game! I don't care much for football but I had to support my girls performing at half time <3 Congrats Planoettes - y'all rocked that field and I am so proud of you girls! It was just a chill night with the roomies but ended up being a ton of fun! I can't wait for more nights like that.

EPCOT!
Since it was my first day off and there were a few of us who had the day off we decided we would venture over to one of the parks - Epcot. Unfortunately, we lost Shawna along the way because she got called into work. Lame! haha so Emilee and I were on our way to Epcot and had such a great day! We spent the whole day walking around the entire world meeting every character that we could. By the end of the day I had added 17 new autographs to my autograph book! Some including Mulan, Snow White, Aladdin and Jazmine, Pooh and Tigger and the list goes on. Afterwards, Jaci, Victoria, Nicole and Shawna met us in China for a night out. Well, that was a fail. hahaha the prices were a bit more than we had expected them to be and it just ended up not working out like we had planned. I mean really, who pays 6 dollars for a freaking cucumber?! haha oh goodness, We watched Illuminations (SO AMAZING!) and called it a night.

Todayyy
Well, I had today off as well. I slept in which was definitely needed, did some relaxing, took a trip to walmart with Emilee, now I am sitting here doing this. After I get some laundry and stuff done, anyone who is off is going to head over to Magic Kingdom to play in the parks and watch Wishes! I feel like it has been a productive and successful day :)

oh and did I mention I found out last night that my boyfriend and his mom are in the process of booking their flight here for March?! I am beyond excited - I can't wait to see them!!!! :)

well, I will do my best to update this. Like I said earlier I start an 82 hour work week tomorrow so I am not too sure how much energy I am going to have but I will do my best to update this as much as I can!

In the meantime, wish me luck as I earn my ears to become a fairy godmother in training! <3

CrAzY!!!

Wow I don't even know where to begin. These last few days have been nothing but a whirlwind and my mind is still trying to catch up with it all! I guess I will start from the beginning, which would be about 4 am Saturday morning haha
   4 am Saturday Morning - January 29, 2011
So my alarm goes off at 4 in the morning, might I add I had only gotten 2 hours of sleep! I get ready, finish some last minute packing and then begin my goodbyes to my puppies :( Yes, I did cry saying goodbye to them! Haha they mean everything to me and it was so hard saying goodbye to them!!!

So 5:30 rolls around and we have to be out the door, so out the door we go! Boy was I already exhausted but I couldn't believe I was actually on my way! This day that I had been counting down to for weeks was finally right at my fingertips and I honestly wished to have a few days more. Driving away with my mom, my brother and his girlfriend in front of us and my boyfriend and I following them in his truck we were on our way to my never never land :) but hold up, nothing goes that smoothly in my life! 15 minutes into our journey my brother pulls to the side of the road - uh oh, my mom left her license at home! So on their way back to the house they go and on our way to the airport me and my boyfriend go. We get to the airport, my family gets to the airport, we check my bags, we get in line for security and everywhere I look there was Disney stuff, its like it was taunting me! haha so all that good stuff happens and we board the plane. Smooth flight, nothing out of the ordinary. I had my iPod, boyfriend, disney coloring books, food and a book to read - I was set!

Two hour flight, not too bad and before I knew it I was hoppin off the plane!!! "I hopped off the plane at LAX MCO with a dream and a cardigan. Welcome to the land of Fame excess Mickey Mouse, woah, am I gunna fit in?!" Yupp, thats my new creation of Party in the USA :) haha n-e-wayz so we landed, got off the plane and I was surrounded by Disney gift shops, sunshine, and palm trees - I loved it! We get our bags, get our rental car, yadda yadda yadda and we are on our way. First stop? Get our tickets for Disney World and Universal studios! Second stop? Cici's pizza where I so kindly got my CP discount! Third stop? Most amazing hotel ever - absolutely gorgeous! We get settled, do a little relaxing, take a walmart trip while my brother goes to Best Buy (or so we think) to get a wireless router and a bigger memory card for my camera and we all come back to the hotel to relax a little more.
SURPRISE!!! My sister flew down from Seattle to surprise us! I was in complete shocked and so excited that she was there! So we continue on with our exciting day with a short relaxation time, some dinner and then we head down to down town disney! While my brother, his girlfriend, my sister and mom went to go see Circue Due Solei, Alex and I went to Disney Quest - definitely a lot of fun! That was day 1 of my Orlando adventure and boy was I wiped!

Day 2 - DISNEY WORLD!

My goodness was I excited for this day! I was finally getting to go to Magic Kingdom and I was just too excited I couldn't contain myself. We woke up, got ready, left the hotel and we were on our way. We got there, Parked in Pluto row 19, got on the tram, got on the metro and finally, we were there. First stop? dun dun dunnn, first aid station. Yupp, thats right! I got stepped on and was gushing blood everywhere!!! Not really, but it was pretty gross haha but finally, I was on my way to Cinderellas castle! I had the biggest grin on my face, I just couldn't believe I was actually there! We took a bunch of pictures, watched a show and then hit TomorrowLand! First ride was Space Mountain with a 10 minute wait! JACKPOT! Needless to say, there were no lines all day and it was amazing! So we hit up tomorrowland, met Stitch and Buzz, then moved on to main street where there was a parade going on! Score! Best part of the day - I got to dance in the parade and had the time of my life! Seriously, it was so much fun! Moving on, we went to a bunch of different places and I couldn't keep the grin off of my face. Throughout the day we met Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Stich, Buzz Lightyear, Cinderella, Aurora and Belle! We rode a bunch of rides and had the time of our lives! I would go into more detail but I don't want to bore you guys to death and make this any longer than it is going to be. Finally it was Wishes time!
Wishes was absolutely amazing and I had chills through the whole entire thing! I can't believe that I can see it as much as I want this semester! (that is, if I am not working!) Long day shortened to a really long paragraph, I had the best day ever in Disney World!

Day 3 - the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!
Yesterday was a great day too, I finally got to go to Hogwarts!!! I had so much fun wandering around Hogsmeade and the rest of Islands of Adventure but to be truthfully honest I think I would have had so much more fun had I not have had to say goodbye to my boyfriend and brother and his girlfriend later that day. Yeah, thats right - I had a meltdown in Universal Studios saying goodbye to them! haha can you say AQWARDD! But anyways, I am not going to go into full detail but I will definitely be back because it really was fun. We even got my mom to ride a few rollercoasters which was a first since her surgery so that was quite exciting! Especially the Hulk ride she rode ;] haha so pretty good day on Monday, despite the goodbyes!
Oh and we can't forget how my mom so kindly told me at the end of the day while we were getting dinner that I looked "incredibly exhausted, wiped out, sad, and had one eye that had a bigger bag under it than the other!" gee thanks mom! haha it was pretty funny actually lol

Day 4 - Downtown Disney and Grocery shopping
Well, my sister left early this morning leaving it to me and my mom now! She let me sleep in today which was so nice but once I woke up we were up and at 'em. I couldn't help but laugh at the fact that back home in Dallas it is 12 degrees and I was chillin in 75 degree weather today - amazingness <3 Our day consisted of doing some dry good grocery shopping, Denny's for lunch, going to the other side of DTD that we didn't go to (which might I add is so cool!) We went to find the BBB location down there located in a World of Disney and it was so cool! Everyone there seems so nice and it definitely seems like a great environment! My mom was so embarassing and made me go and take a picture inside - very embarassing haha but I will survive! We continued our stroll through DTD ending with some ice cream and another trip to the grocery store.

We are currently cleaning up the hotel room and getting ready for check in tomorrow and check out from the hotel. Well, she is getting ready - I am updating this thing! haha
On that note, I am going to go finish cleaning and hit the hay. Meeting Brooke tomorrow at 6 am for breakfast with our mommies before we head over to Vista way for the big day! Wish me luck, I am extremely nervous but extremely excited! I promise I will try to stay up on my updating but if this semester is anything like this weekend it is going to be pretty hard! haha

Hope everyone is doing well! :)

"it's Fearless"

Its Crunch Time
So, its almost here - I officially have 3 1/2 days until I make the big move out to Orlando. It feels like just yesterday I was at 45 days until the big move and it couldn't go by any slower. Now that its crunch time I would give anything to slow down time just a little bit. Don't get me wrong - I am so beyond excited to get to Orlando and start this adventure of a lifetime, I am just not ready to say my goodbyes quite yet :/

I officially had my last day at work on Friday - kind of a bittersweet feeling but I could not be more  excited to be getting out of there! I definitely need a break from that place thats for sure haha

On a side note, I went to the lake this past weekend with my boyfriend and learned how to shoot a gun! Haha it was quite exciting, a little scary but kinda fun too! My roommates should feel safe now that I know how to shoot a gun/rifle ;] PSYCHE! haha I also stayed out in Plano a day after we got back from the lake to say goodbye to some friends and to finally pick up my diploma...wups, took me a little while to get that one haha Over all though it was a really great weekend - I couldn't have asked for a better last weekend thats for sure!

I have a crazy long list of things that I need to get done before Friday - thats when my mom wants all my bags packed and ready to go so we can walk out the door at 5:30 in the morning on Saturday! This is mind blowing, the fact that I am down to the last few days. It is so unreal that something I have wanted to do for so long is actually happening. I guess they are right - dreams really do come true! <3

"We know we got the Best of Both Worlds"

So as lame as it is, I am one of the biggest Hannah Montana fans out there. I have been since March 24, 2006 and I always will be. I have seen every single episode that is out there and I can quote just about every single line in every single episode. Not to mention I can quote the Hannah Montana movie and the Last song and anything else Miley has been in! haha but anyways, the series finale of Hannah Montana was on tonight and to be truthfully honest, I cried at the end of it. This has been such a big part of my life throughout my whole high school years and everyone knows me for loving Hannah Montana. I flew to Las Vegas my sophomore year for the Best of Both Worlds concert and was 5 rows from the stage (Keep in mind I live in Texas) I camped out all day for the Wonderworld tour in Dallas only to have one of the best days of my life and the list goes on. Needless to say I feel like a part of my life is ending with this.
Not only was it depressing because it was the series finale but it also hit close to home. The whole end of it was saying goodbye - saying goodbye to what things used to be, saying goodbye to friendships, saying goodbye to past times and saying hello to the future. Everything that I have been doing and preparing myself for for when I make the move out to Disney. Did I mention I am terrible at goodbyes? Because I am. I actually think being terrible at them is an understatement. I just flat out suck at them. I can't handle goodbyes - I am too emotional for that! (go figure, I am a girl - what do you expect?!)
Moving out to Orlando is a big step for me. I have never been out on my own before, I have never been away from my family before, and I have never been more than an hour away from my boyfriend. Now I am going to be states away from them starting in 15 days. Its going to be a tough goodbye thats for sure.
On to some exciting news - I officially have 5 days left at work and 12 days until I leave for Orlando for our family vacation! :] I can't believe how fast everything is coming up - its so insane to think that I started a countdown when I had 68 days till I left! Its crazy how fast time flies by. I have been starting a bucket list of things that I want to do when I am down in Disney. So far it is a decent list but if you have any suggestions for me to add to it feel free to throw them out there! I am open to anything! :]

Off to go get some stuff done before I have a disney movie marathon :] peace out girl scout!

"Everything is about to change, we face tomorrow as we say goodbye to yesterday. A chapter ending but the stories only just begun - a page is turning for everyone. So I'm moving on, letting go, holding on to tomorrow. I've always got the memories while I'm finding out who I'm gunna be" <3

The Beginning

I figured since I was about to go on the biggest journey of my life so far that I should document it in more ways than pictures. I want to make sure that I remember every good and every bad moment and memory that happens over the course of these next 5 months.

The most Magical place on earth °o°
For those who don't know (if anyone is actually going to read this that is!) I got accepted into the Walt Disney World College Program Internship for Spring of 2011! :) I applied back at the end of October as a spontaneous decision and much to my surprise I was accepted! I will spend 5 months in Orlando working at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique as a fairy godmother in training and I couldn't be more excited.

Just keep swimming waiting, Just keep swimming waiting!
The countdown started the day that I was accepted. The good news - I am down to 16 more days till I leave Texas and move to Orlando and 20 days until I check into my apartment in Disney! :]] The bad news - I only have a two weeks left with my family and friends and only two weeks to pack everything I am going to need for 5 months into just a few bags...yikes! We might be in a little bit of trouble! haha

Roommates! :)
I like to say that I am lucky for already having found 2 out of my 3 roommates that are soon going to have one of the greatest impacts on the next 5 months of my life. And even better I have already met them! We all live in Texas so we planned a roadtrip and met down in Huntsville about a week ago to meet eachother for the first time. There is no doubt in my mind that we are all going to get along great down there!

Throughout my time down in Orlando I will try to keep this updated on a daily basis just incase anyone is reading this and so I don't forget anything that happens on this magical experience :)

"Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things...and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. We just keep movin' forward."

I have a feeling we are going to have a great semester! <3
